  1. The sensor is installed on the sediment at the top and bottom of the horizontal pipe to interfere with the ultrasonic signal

  2. The sensor is installed on the pipe with water flowing downward, and the pipe is not filled with fluid.

  3. There is a device that makes the flow regime fluctuate strongly, which is just within the transmitting and receiving range of the sensor, resulting in inaccurate reading.

  4. The input pipe diameter of the ultrasonic flowmeter does not match the inner diameter of the pipe.

  1. Install the sensor on both sides of the pipe.

  2. Install the sensor on the fluid filled pipe section.

  3. Move the sensor 10d upstream or 30d away from the device.

  4. Modify the pipe diameter to match.
